BabelBark and Fear Free Form Partnership

Denver, Colo. – BabelBark, Inc., a pet related software developer, announces a partnership with Fear Free, an educational initiative designed to train veterinarians, pet professionals, and pet owners to ease the fear, anxiety, and stress of the pets in their care. Through this agreement, BabelBark will educate pet parents with dynamically tailored content developed by Fear Free and will be a valuable tool for veterinarians to create unique pet profiles that easily can be accessible and shared online. Fear Free certified members will also receive discounts on BabelBark software that gives them valuable insight into the lives of individual pets.

“Both BabelBark and Fear Free share a common mission of connecting pet parents, veterinary professionals, and the pet professional community through every step of a pet’s health and wellness needs to ensure pets have a Fear Free experience,” said Roy Stein, BabelBark founder and CEO. “This partnership will provide a new level of support to veterinarians through technology, allowing them to deliver individualized information and consultations to each pet parent.”

Fear Free was founded by Dr. Marty Becker, “America’s Veterinarian” and resident veterinarian on The Dr. Oz Show, as well as a 17-year veteran of Good Morning America He is also on the Board of Directors of the American Humane Association. The intensive certification course was developed with input from a 160-member advisory group, including board-certified veterinary behaviorists, well-known veterinary practice management experts, and other leaders in the field. Since launching in 2016, more than 37,000 professionals have enrolled in the Fear Free course, and over 22,000 have been certified.

“Fear Free and BabelBark believe in creating a strong bond with the entire pet community, ensuring that each pet visit is a positive and enjoyable experience,” said Becker. “When the professional team and pet parent are on the same page regarding a pet’s health, the pet wins. There’s less anxiety during the pet’s time at the veterinarian’s office, which gives the client peace of mind and ultimately paves the way for better medicine, better communications, and better care.”

Launched in 2016, BabelBark connects thousands of pets with pet care businesses (including veterinary practices, trainers, shelters, groomers, walkers, pet sitters, boarding kennels, and more within the pet care community) through a digital platform with a mobile application.

The suite of BabelBark products includes:

  • BabelBark, a mobile app helping pet parents manage their pets’ records, medications, diet, activity, and more. Adding an optional health monitor will only enhance the pet owner’s ability to improve their pets’ health. The BabelBark app is now available for free download in the App Store and Google Play.
  • BizBark, a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps independent pet businesses such as groomers, shelters, trainers, walkers, boarders, and others manage their business and marketing efforts, so they can concentrate on the services they offer. BizBark helps pet businesses become top of mind with their customers. Pet businesses can enroll by going to Bizbark.com.
  • BabelVet, a powerful software platform that fully integrates with a veterinary practice’s management system, allowing the ability to share a pet’s full profile and health care stats whenever needed. Everything from exercise levels and nutrition data to medicine dosage and vaccination records, all in one easy-to-access place. BabelVet allows veterinarians to connect directly with their patients’ health data to deliver a more complete level of care. Enrolling as a clinic is easy at BabelVet.com.

“This partnership is a major milestone for both companies,” Stein said. “Ultimately it means we can help more pet parents, pet professionals, and veterinarians create better health outcomes for pets.”
