My mission is to cultivate a synergistic pet grooming environment. Synergy in pet grooming is about harmonizing the groomer’s mindset, skills, and actions with the well-being and needs of the animals. It entails deep understanding and empathy towards the pets, fostering trust and connection, and creating a serene and positive grooming experience. When synergy is achieved, groomers and pets collaborate in a balanced and cooperative manner, leading to an enjoyable and successful grooming process.

With over 25 years of grooming experience, my lifelong journey as a pet stylist began at the age of 15. In 2002, after graduating from high school, I embarked on furthering my grooming career in Michigan. There, I attended the esteemed Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Grand Rapids, earning my grooming certification after completing 160 clock hours of hands-on training.

Continuing my commitment to professional growth, I attend annual seminars and training sessions to stay updated with the latest advancements in pet grooming techniques. With a deep passion and love for my pet “artwork,” I approach grooming as a certified fear-free groomer. This means I prioritize the comfort and well-being of pets by understanding and working with their fears, stresses, and anxieties, ensuring a relaxing and stress-free salon experience.

My expertise extends to all breeds and styles, and I consistently strive to expand my knowledge and skills. As of 2023, I have enrolled in a program led by the renowned veterinarian, Dr. Cliff Favor. Additionally, under the guidance of the award-winning international competitive groomer and pet aesthetician, Suzanne Marchetti, I am pursuing my certification as a Certified Pet Aesthetician. I aim to be completing the program and obtaining my certification at their clinic in Arizona by the end of the year.
