About Behaviour Disorders

It turns out that many behavioural problems are anxiety based and therefore both a medical disease and an issue of animal welfare and quality of life. They require veterinary assessment and treatment to manage. This is in contrast to behaviours that are normal but socially undesirable such as digging, pulling on the leash and jumping up on people, which can generally be helped by qualified trainers who use positive, rewards-based methods.
