My dog has always struggled with anxiety at vets or going anywhere foreign. PetVet365 has each room set up like a living room to mitigate anxiety, including a toy basket, a dog bed, a TV, treats, etc. My little boy was playing happily instead of his usual trembles and cries! They also let you in at the door so you’re not waiting in the lobby with your fur baby and causing them more anxiety! I fully believe my dog thought he was on a short playdate and not a visit to the vet. They take a unique approach with animals to not push them past their limits, and are open to trying different methods to make your animal the most comfortable they can be. Dr. Hilliard came and sat on the ground with him in the exam room. He went from baring fangs at her to following and sitting with her! It’s clear they’re very knowledgeable about animal behavior and trust building. The staff made me feel very listened to and supported during my visit as well, and the prices weren’t outrageous like they would be at other urgent vets.
