We are an AAHA accredited mixed animal clinic providing superior veterinary care here in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We have separate entrances for dogs and cats. There are two rooms designed to welcome cats to explore our walking walls platforms and exercise wheel. UPAWS provides us with cats that are available for adoption that you can visit in our Picnic Rocks kitchen to see if they are the right fit for your household. We have an attached dog park for our customers to use with their dogs as they relax before and after their visit. Please make sure you sign in at the front the desk to get a lanyard to show you have reviewed the rules and your pet is current on vaccinations. At check-in, you can choose some tasty treat for your dog at the doggy deli bar. We believe in putting the treat into treatment. Remember to bring your pet hungry and with their favorite toy.
My rescue dog had a very rough life before I adopted him. Due to his previous life, he is very nervous in new or uncomfortable situations. Dr. Klar and the staff at AMC always works with us to make Teddy as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dr.Klar and AMC! Mary Koski

I love, love, love this place! The atmosphere is friendly, comforting and caring. I have 2 dogs and a cat, and one of the dogs is a yapper! With the staff being Fear Free it helps her stay calmer, not bark as much, and not feel overwhelmed. Everything about them shows how much they really care about your pets!
