Kris, RVT (she/her)
I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2009 and became Fear Free certified in 2019 when I realized there was more I could be doing to improve the quality of life of my patients.
I truly believe that the human-animal bond is an incredible and sometimes life-saving phenomenon that should not be restricted by limited access to finances, living in remote locations, or other barriers. I am passionate about community outreach and increasing access to veterinary care for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations. I have been honored to work with organizations providing accessible services to low-income families and partnering with Indigenous communities in remote locations to increase access to veterinary care.
Some of my experience includes: small animal practice, shelter medicine, emergency medicine, HQHVSN, and One Health.
