MM: Michele is, hands-down, the best caregiver for my two rescue pups. Not only did she come to meet with us several times before our vacation, the suggestions she made to keep “my girls” safe and sound and happy reflects a deep and thorough understanding of canine psychology and behavior. Our previous dog walker could not effectively deal with Cassie’s aggression toward strangers; Michele not only coped brilliantly with the issue but was able to ultimate befriend Cassie – I don’t know how she did it! We are undertaking a house rebuild in the spring; I will be asking for a consultation with Michele when it comes to building our new dog run. SM: This past spring we adopted a rescue and started working with Michelle – she has been great! Common sense advise, practical, and caring. We highly recommend her! She helped us with basic commands, creating routines, correcting behavior issues, and improved our knowledge of how to care for our pup as well. NS: The most wonderful place for my dog to stay when I’m away! Michelle is so knowledgeable about his separation anxiety and is the only person close the the NY area who actually respects his issues. Previous sitters would say they understood but would leave my dog alone which would set back his training ! Michelle truly loves my little boo and it’s like sending him to a spa! He has lots of room to run around and there is usually another animal which he loves. I feel he is in the best hands and heart when I need to leave him. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would rate her 10!

MH: Huge thanks to Sirius Positive Dog training for everything she taught our boy. Malcolm is one of the smartest and well trained pitbulls due to Michele’s training dynamics. After adopting him, we continued the training cues and it helped to keep him centered with us in times of excitement and everyone enjoys seeing all of his tricks. He spins, sits, lays, and is even getting really good at catching treats. I would recommend Michele to ANYONE looking for a dog trainer. I know she has dealt with some pretty tough behaviors but she is fantastic at what she does, you can definitely trust that your pup would be in good hands.

AS: We have had our rescue dog stay with Michele from Sirius Positive Dog Training multiple times for “Board and Train” and we have already booked her for multiple future stays when we have to travel. We cannot recommend her enough. Michele is absolutely wonderful with dogs, and adapts to every dog’s needs. Michele is creative both in training the dogs and also in coming up with fun activities for them — many of which we have integrated into our daily lives at home. Michele updates us regularly via text messages, emails, pictures and videos of what our puppy has been up to. Our dog loves staying with Michele. Besides, her facilities are truly outstanding. Michele is brilliant at training dogs: our pup comes home better behaved every time than when we drop her off. We can’t imagine a better place to put your dog when you cannot be with them.

NG: We have worked with Michele in the course of fostering and rehabbing two different dogs with serious behavioral issues. She is incredible, and I can’t recommend enough. She treats each dog as its own individual, takes every case extremely seriously, and is constantly studying, learning, and exploring the latest research. She will help you to understand your dog’s particular challenges and how to overcome them.
