Country Oaks has been a part of the Sacramento community since 1967. With new ownership in 2015, we have finally completed our major renovation. Our new facility is a state-of-the-art building designed with our patient’s and staffs physical and emotional well-being in mind. The practice is looking towards the future but will always honor the time-tested practice of superior client service.

Our mission is to inspire our clients to give their pet the best care they deserve. We are looking for both part-time and full-time veterinarian. Even veterinarians that have a specialty.
Our facility has all the necessary diagnostic tools to provide the highest quality medicine possible. We have in house IDEXX laboratory suite, IDEXX digital radiology suite, utilize Cornerstone for medical record management, and have in house ultrasound, cardiology, telemedicine for radiography and ultrasound consultation. We have a beautifully designed reception area with separate lobbies for canines and felines with fire places, two surgical suites, six exam rooms including rooms specifically designed for feline patients, dedicated dental suite, calming garden for stressed canine examinations or end of life services and much more. We have a conference room, games, 80-inch TV for Wi Fit games, yoga, and more., treadmill and exercise bikes.
Certified Feline Friendly Practice, Fear Free Certified Staff and we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary as Fear Free Certified Practice.
The Sacramento area is a wonderful place to live! We have excellent restaurants, art and culture, community events, professional sports teams, lakes, rivers, hiking and running trails. We can take short day trips, to the Napa Valley, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Skiing, the coast and so much more!

As an veterinarian, you can expect to work in a busy clinical and surgical environment. Licensed or able to obtain a veterinary license in California
Willing to practice Fear Free Medicine, focusing on the pet's physical and emotional well-being. We need a veterinarian that is efficient (1/2 hour appointments), team player, ethical, reliable, responsible, able to continue learn with the rest of us, assist with client and staff training and have a great sense of humor.
Excellent pay: 110,000. to 180,000. Generous healthcare & CE allowance, Vacation, CE paid time off, in-house CE, pet benefits, etc
