The Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital is a thriving three-doctor small animal practice with an experienced support staff, high-quality technology and diagnostic equipment, and a regional emergency service that covers all after-hours emergencies.
We’re located in the middle of a lively college town with a low cost of living, low taxes and great schools. It’s the best of all worlds because Penn State draws big-city diversity and cultural offerings while being just moments away from an array of outdoor activities in a beautiful mountainous setting.
An overview of the Practice:
• Strong emphasis on Fear Free skills and certification for all staff
• Four exam rooms.
• Large treatment room that incorporates our wet tables, prep areas, and patient housing.
• Dedicated radiology and surgical suites.
• We’re equipped with a complete IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiography/digital dental radiography and ultrasound.
• Our practice utilizes AVImark practice management software to function “paper-lite” as much as possible.
• Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
