The Associate Veterinarian has many important responsibilities and plays many roles within the practice; however, the primary responsibility is to maintain animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries. The Associate Veterinarian is to make every effort to help improve the quality of care given to the patients. They lead the healthcare team in daily appointments, treatments, routine and emergency procedures and surgery.
This person is entrepreneurial, self-directed and passionate about providing exceptional experiences for team members, clients, patients and vendors. Because this is a growing entrepreneurial organization, this position will need to work across many disciplines, interacting effectively throughout the organization and fully leveraging the resources available. Diagnostic tools: digital general and dental radiology, ultrasound, cold laser, full IDEXX in-house VetSuite and IDEXX reference laboratory.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 year degree from an AVMA accredited (or equivalent) veterinary college
  • License in Massachusetts
  • DEA and MCSR licensure
  • Fear Free certified!
  • 2 years of companion animal clinic experience or completed a 1 year internship training program
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed and passionate about providing exceptional experiences for team members, clients, patients and business partners
  • We are looking for collaborative doctors who are excited to be taking care of patients and clients as well as play an active role in the training and growth of our team members
