Metropet Veterinary Clinic, a respected and community-centered small animal practice in Berea, OH, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Practice Manager to join and lead our growing team. As one of the very few Fear Free Certified Practices in the state of Ohio, we take pride in providing veterinary care that minimizes stress for pets and creates a more positive experience for clients and staff alike.

Position Overview:
As our Practice Manager, you will be the operational backbone of the clinic. You’ll work closely with our medical team, client service team, and ownership, to ensure efficient workflows, maintain financial health, and foster a supportive, client-focused culture that reflects our Fear Free values.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and staff scheduling
Enter and Pay Bills in Quick books, provide cash flow management.
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and inventory control
Maintain compliance with veterinary regulations and Fear Free standards
Inventory System and Reminder System Management
Monitor and Adjust Hospital Efficiency
Lead up a social media and technology campaign
Check ins and follow ups with team members to discuss their needs, help with training and protocols.
Support our lead CSR with hiring, onboarding, and team development
Implement and monitor hospital protocols and client service practices
Foster a healthy, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in veterinary or medical practice management preferred but not required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with veterinary practice management software (e.g., AVImark, Cornerstone)
Familiarity with basics of HR, personnel management, QuickBooks, and business budgeting.
Knowledge of Fear Free principles or certification is a plus
CVPM certification a bonus but not required
Business Degree or training is a plus but not required
